You go back to the 6869 season when Dixie was 2 and 20 and what was a disaster season back then. But that's the last time Dixie lost as many as 14 games was the 1968-69 season. Of course part of the reason the many losses is Dixie's playing more games now than they did back then and you play more, you have a better chance of winning 20. You also have a chance of losing a few more medictie finishes and what no matter what we say is going to be the worst record that Ken Wagner has had since he's Benedict College. The advantage is there are a lot of freshmen on this team and there are quite a few that should be back for next year. I think some will be going on mission and a good recruiting here in Dick could be poised for an outstanding year next year for Dick Digs. Let's take a look at the the scoring totals. Ken Johnson, young man who came over from Southwestern Oregon Community College with Jeff Mende made the move over, finished with eight field goals, one of which was a three pointer. His toe was on the line but they still counted it as three. A total two for two from the free throw line and a total of 19 points for Ken Johnson. Five men and double figures for Salt Lake, so good balance on the night for Dixie College. Richard Richard Bonney played only in the first half, did not score.
